Dachshund Sizes

Same neck measurement with a roomier chest, longer body, and shorter leg length.
Back lengths: Medium 38cm, Large 40cm.
Medium suits most miniature dachshunds; Large fits chunkier minis or Standard dachshunds.

Other Sizes

Small – Small/toy breed puppies. Full-grown Chihuahuas, teacup breeds, puppy dachshunds, pugs, Jack Russells. Approx. 1.5–4kg.
Medium – Puppies/small breed puppies. Miniature dachshunds, small Shih Tzus. Approx. 3–5kg.
Large – Medium-breed puppies (French bulldog under 4 months). Adult Jack Russell, Standard dachshunds. Approx. 5–8kg.
XLarge – Medium/large breed puppies (Frenchie, bulldog, spaniel under 6 months). Adult Pugs, Boston Terriers, medium Terriers, small Cavapoos, Spaniels, French Bulldogs. Approx. 8–11kg.

If your dog sits between sizes or at the upper end of a chest measurement, size up. Chest size matters most.
